Meridyth is a saxophonist and woodwind player based in North London.

A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Meridyth has also studied with top saxophonists from around the world and is equally comfortable on either soprano, alto, tenor or baritone saxophones, as well as doubling on clarinet and flute.

Meridyth performs regularly across London, the UK and Europe, as well as performing further afield in the Middle East and Asia. She is equally at home playing live shows or in the studio for recording sessions. Meridyth works regularly as a session player and records at studios around London or remotely from her home studio. Whilst playing with various function and tribute bands, Meridyth is also involved with several original bands including PM Warson, James Andrews & The Ghostwriters, Mere Martyr and Tigercats.

Meridyth is passionate about music education and the opportunities music can bring. She offers private tuition on saxophones, clarinet and flute for all ages and abilities.

Her career so far has seen her play a wide range of events, from festivals, stadiums, jazz clubs, theatres, TV appearances, club nights and functions. Highlights so far include:

When Meridyth isn’t involved in music, she is designing and making jewellery for her jewellery brand Silver & Smoke. This combines her love of art and design with sustainability as she uses recycled silver and ethically sourced stones to create one of a kind and made to order pieces.
